Our Team

Kenneth Bombace

Cheif Executive Officer

Kenneth Bombace serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Threat Solutions. He possesses extensive experience in the fields of law enforcement, intelligence, counterterrorism and private security operations and serves as a subject matter expert on security issues for media outlets around the world.

Furthermore, he has served as a security consultant to Fortune 100 firms, family offices, foreign heads of state and government agencies. Prior to his position with Global Threat Solutions, he led all protection operations for one of the largest police departments in the United States and as a Military Intelligence Officer he led policing and Counter Insurgency Operations in Samarra, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Bombace possesses a BA in Political Science from Stony Brook University and an MS in Criminal Justice from Long Island University.

Chris Schiavo

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Schiavo serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Global Threat Solutions. Chris is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force, starting his 31st year of service, as the Northeast Forces Director and Liaison Office Director. Chris is a veteran Suffolk County Police Officer, with over 25 years of service, assigned to Aviation, as a helicopter pilot. Chris also serves as an elected Fire Commissioner, with the Deer Park Fire Department. Chris previously served as the Fire Chief from 2000 to 2008 and has over 26 years of service, as a firefighter. Chris is also the active President of the Suffolk Police Veterans Association.

Luis Leal Contreras

Executive Vice President 

Luis LealContreras serves as the Executive Vice President of Global Threat Solutions, bringing over two decades of comprehensive experience across military, law enforcement, and private security sectors. Luis’s distinguished military career includes service in both the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. He played pivotal roles in numerous combat operations overseas, notably in support of the Global War on Terrorism, where his leadership and strategic acumen were critical to mission success.

Transitioning to law enforcement, Mr. LealContreras served as a patrol officer and further honed his tactical skills as a SWAT team member and SWAT team medic. His commitment to public safety and his ability to perform under pressure made him a valuable asset in high-stakes situations.

In the private security sector, Mr. LealContreras has held diverse and challenging assignments. His expertise includes conducting thorough investigations, providing active shooter training, executing undercover operations, and offering executive protection. He has also successfully led high-risk missions overseas, demonstrating his versatility and unwavering dedication to security.

Mr. LealContreras’s academic achievements complement his professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership, underscoring his commitment to continuous learning and leadership in his field.

Ashley Reid

Senior Vice President of Operations

Ashley Reid is a results-driven professional with over eight years of leadership experience in the security sector, specializing in executive protection. As the Senior Vice President of Operations at Global Threat Solutions, Ashley has established a reputation for driving operational excellence and fostering organizational growth.

With a comprehensive military and executive protection background, Ashley excels in navigating complex security landscapes and ensuring the safety of high-profile individuals. Her strategic approach to streamlining business operations, boosting efficiency, and delivering sustainable results has consistently set her apart in the industry.

Ashley’s expertise in executive protection is underscored by her ability to anticipate and mitigate security risks effectively, providing clients with peace of mind in challenging environments.
